| Someone smart once said that it's better to cover well other people's songs than write lousy songs yourself. Did I say well? Oh well. None of us seems to be really interested in writing own material, since there are all those wonderful tunes around, just waiting to be covered. Kalle did start writing a song called My monster (presumably about one of the other band members), but he didn't manage to fully develop his talents before we let him go.
The very first song that we covered, with a relative success,
was Kent's Stoppa mig juni. Very quickly, however, we realized
that it's an amazing song to listen to but quite boring to play.
Other Kent songs that we've played: 747, Saker man ser, Rödljus
II, Berg och dalvana, Kärleken väntar and När det
blåser på månen. We also put our hands on HIM's Gone with
the sin and Travis' version of Baby one more time (covering
covers, anybody?). |
